Why Greg?
Hello!
My name is Greg Mroczek. I moved to Calgary when I was five years old and have proudly called this wonderful city home ever since. I hold a Bachelor of Management degree from the University of Lethbridge and have furthered my education by earning the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) certification. I am also currently at the University of Calgary pursuing my MBA.
My uncle, a REALTOR® in BC during the '90s who later became a mortgage broker in Edmonton, sparked my early interest in real estate. I entered the industry 11 years ago, managing operations for an office of 150+ agents across three Alberta regions, and became a licensed REALTOR® in early 2023. I became an Associate Broker in 2024, allowing me to work in residential, property management, rural, and commercial real estate.
Beyond my formal education and real estate experience, I have owned seven properties in two provinces, serving as President and Treasurer on a few of these boards. With 10 years of board experience and 4 years of committee involvement at a multi-million-dollar corporation, these experiences and skills allow me to serve my clients better.
I have noticed a lack of quality customer service in the industry. Despite the fact that there are over 10,000 agents in Alberta, I am committed to providing my clients with great service and expertise. Unlike other agents, I am not focused on generating leads and recruiting other agents. I believe in effective marketing and providing real value to my clients. I take pride in not pressuring my buyers and sellers into making decisions that they're not comfortable with. If a client is not satisfied with a property, I advise them to walk away.
Apart from real estate, I volunteer at Momentum, assisting with their programs, and as a junior high wrestling and basketball coach. I have also started a program to help people improve their resumes, cover letters, and interview skills. I believe that giving back my time to the community is important.
